blogs.jpgThe corkboard is finished! While my husband did the taxes, I broke out the wine corks and frame and went to work. It was more involved than I thought it would be. I even suffered a little for my art. For some corks I had to sandpaper them down alittle. On occasion I ended up sandpapering my thumb to the point of blood. But, nevertheless, the project is complete. It looks cool. Now, all I have to do is wait for the glue to dry.

natalieIt took me a little while, but I finished reclaiming Natalie’s collage. Ticket stubs are in place, although I had to take out a few. Pictures can be seen again. Signatures are front and center. I added setlists (Gabe’s, Elizabeth’s, Erik’s & an extra from the piano). Memories are immortalized again. Finally. Special thanks to J for hanging the whole thing.

I used to keep a blog on MySpace. I left in part because people could “message” me privately about my blogs in addition to commenting openly. In private they would ask questions as if they knew what the hell I was talking about; ask intimate things. I wanted to tell them the truth – pronouns aren’t honest, neither are names, no, I won’t tell you more. He might not be him. I write for me, myself & moi. In the end, I took down the blog, but saved the blatherings. I have finally finished putting them in a book. For those of you who commented openly, I’m including your words because I loved what you had to say.
